TORONTO, Aug. 18 /CNW/ - CTV reveals today that Canada's biggest events return to dazzle viewers this season beginning with the glitz and glamour of the 62^nd PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS, airing Sunday, August 29 at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on CTV (visit CTV.ca  to confirm local broadcast times). Outrageous Emmy-nominated comedian Jimmy Fallon hosts this year's three-hour broadcast in which CTV programs have garnered 94 nominations, more than any other Canadian broadcaster. Preceding the EMMYs at 7 p.m. ET, CTV kicks off the night with the 62^nd PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS RED CARPET SPECIAL, a live one-hour celebrity-filled event co-hosted by Billy Bush, Maria Menounos (ACCESS HOLLYWOOD) and Nate Berkus (THE NATE BERKUS SHOW).

The blockbuster 2010-11 big ticket events line-up includes Canadian specials THE SCOTIABANK GILLER PRIZE, WE DAY and the 40^th Anniversary of THE JUNO AWARDS, live from Toronto, along with THE 106^th SANTA CLAUS PARADE, which returns to CTV after nearly three decades. They all join Canada's biggest broadcasting events, THE 83^rd ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS®, SUPER BOWL XLV, THE 68^th ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE® AWARDS and THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS.
