The AFNQL would like to express its most sincere condolences to the families
of the victims of the plane crash in Quebec
KAHNAWAKE, QC, June 29 /CNW Telbec/ - The Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador (AFNQL) wishes to express its condolences to the families and colleagues of the victims of the plane crash which occurred in Quebec, on June 23. Two of those victims were working for the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Quebec Region, and they were close to many First Nation members.
"We are greatly saddened by these losses. I would like to offer my affectionate thoughts particularly to the family of Gérald Joncas whom I knew on a personal basis. All of our thoughts and sympathy are with you in this painful hardship", stated the Chief of the AFNQL, Ghislain Picard.
