The AIR MILES Reward Program donates 380,000 AIR MILES to the Canadian Red Cross to support Alberta Flood Relief

AIR MILES Collectors urged to donate by redeeming their miles to Alberta flood victims

TORONTO, June 21, 2013 /CNW/ - The AIR MILES Reward Program is launching a donation drive starting with a 380,000 AIR MILES contribution to the Canadian Red Cross to help support the flood victims in Alberta.   AIR MILES is also encouraging Collectors to support those affected by redeeming their AIR MILES reward miles to help with relief efforts following the widespread flooding that has swept the province.

AIR MILES Collectors who wish to redeem 190 reward miles for a $20 donation to the Canadian Red Cross for the Alberta Floods Response efforts can do so online at www.airmiles.ca.  All contributions will receive a tax receipt from the Canadian Red Cross.

"AIR MILES is a passionate supporter of the Canadian Red Cross, and at times like these, it's important to make sure we do our part as an organization to help," said Andy Wright, president, AIR MILES Reward Program. "We also want to urge our Collectors to redeem their AIR MILES to donate and help those affected by this disaster so close to home."
