MONTRÉAL, May 19, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Collection Loto-Québec is proud to be a partner of the seventh Chromatic Festival. This dynamic and festive event will bring people together from May 19 to 22, 2016, in Montréal's Old Port. The Collection Loto-Québec will present Onde créative, an original installation that combines classical, digital and playful art.
Highlights
- Chromatic is a young festival that puts digital technology and interactivity at the heart of festival-goers' experience. It will be an opportunity to transform the relationship between visitors and artifacts: an assimilation of images and content via games.
- The Collection Loto-Québec selected Démarcation 3 by artist Ianick Raymond to represent its partnership. The original work of art will be displayed on a white wall and a digital copy will face it on the opposite black wall. Both works are identical when static.
- As the visitor moves in front of them, the digital work progressively changes. An animation therefore transforms the canvas according to movement randomly selected from a range of four possibilities.
- At the end of the animation, the digital canvas returns to its original state, like a mirror in front of the original work... until the next visitor comes along!
