Risk Assessment: This section outlines the Governing Council's evaluation of the key risks to the Canadian financial system. After a brief survey of macrofinancial conditions, the principal risks are examined. The objective of the Financial System Review is not to predict the most likely outcomes for the financial system but to raise early awareness of key risks and promote mitigating actions. |
