The Be Brave Ranch is finally a dream come true
Little Warriors holds grand opening celebration for the Be Brave Ranch
EDMONTON, Sept. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Today, Little Warriors held a grand opening to officially celebrate the opening of the Be Brave Ranch. The county fair-themed event, attended by over 500 guests, included a press conference, recognition of donors and volunteers, touring of the facilities, and a variety of refreshments and activities.
"We wanted to celebrate the start of this unique and first-of-its-kind program with a really special event," said Glori Meldrum, founder and chair of Little Warriors. "The Big Be Brave BBQ Celebration was our chance to show off the amazing transformation of the Be Brave Ranch, as well as express our enormous appreciation for those have worked so hard over the years to finally make this dream a reality. Without the support and commitment of everyday Albertans, we would not be where we are today."
The Be Brave Ranch by Ray LaBonte and Family offers children who have been sexually abused and their families a place to heal, and help children grow into healthy adults through more than 200 hours of multiple therapies.
