TORONTO, April 21, 2017 /CNW/ - Big Brother Canada's Sindy "with an S" Nguyen of Toronto, Ont. is sent to jury house one week after taking out her target Neda Kalantar in a blindside that shook the BBCAN universe. After losing two more houseguests in a jam-packed double eviction, the stronghold of power shifted once again as last week's nominee Dillon Carman won the Head of Household competition. He nominated his long-time nemesis Demetres Giannitsos and perennial block-warmer Jackie McCurrach, but when Demetres won the POV and used it on himself, Dillon decided to take a shot at comp beast Sindy while he had the chance. Despite trying to separate herself from allies Kevin Martin and Bruno Ielo in an effort to make the target on her back smaller, Sindy was ultimately unsuccessful and was evicted in a vote of 6 to 1.
In an ironic twist of fate, Sindy is the second houseguest to join the jury house, just as she was during her first time as a Big Brother Canada houseguest. In Season 3, she was also evicted after successfully executing a shocking blindside, when she orchestrated the eviction of her showmance, Jordan Parhar.
"I was doing great for 34 days!" said BBCAN veteran Sindy after leaving the house. "That double eviction really screwed up my game! I did the best I could. I fought hard and now I'm here…to be in jury…AGAIN!"
Meanwhile, Big Brother tasked the houseguests with spring cleaning, with house mom Karen acting as drill sergeant. During this task, William discovered a clue that sent him on a top-secret scavenger hunt, leading to a black hole in the BBCAN Odyssey's forbidden zone. Inside the black hole, he discovered a great power in the game, a secret second POV that he could use to save a nominee either this week or next, and do so secretly so that he would get no blood on his hands. While he chose not to use it this week on either Sindy or Jackie, it is still up his sleeve for the coming week.
Known to fans as an ultimate fighter, Sindy spent her week on the block campaigning to stay. Feeling like public enemy #1, the reining beauty queen strategically used her tears and sneers to get the houseguests to keep her around, even turning on her alliance-mate Ika, to gain new allies. Following her eviction, the houseguests sprinted right into Part 1 of a three-part Head of Household competition called "ParticipACTION 150 Play List." The challenge is designed to get the houseguests moving to activities on the ParticipACTION 150 Play List. And move they will!
This week's HOH competition will determine the fate of "The Six's" remaining members, Bruno, Kevin, Ika and Demetres. Find out who takes the title on Monday's episode of Big Brother Canada at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Global.
