CAA SCO announces blogger contest winners

THORNHILL, ON, May 10, 2013 /CNW/ - Our search is over. After a four-week hunt, CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) has found two popular bloggers to take the CAA Blogger Savings Challenge.

The challenge is simple. Through day-to-day shopping, show how easy it is to pay for two CAA memberships through member-exclusive savings.

Julie Elsdon-Height and Aimée Geroux were hand-picked by our E-Business team to complete the savings challenge.

Elsdon-Height is a blogger, author, motivational speaker, wife and mother of two.

Geroux is also known as "Extreme Couponing Mom" in social media circles. She loves to save money and has turned a hobby into a career.

The two bloggers will be given $2,500 to shop at any of CAA's savings partner locations over an eight-week period using a CAA MasterCard.

Throughout the challenge, they will be required to blog at least once a week about the savings they enjoyed as a CAA member. They are also encouraged to share their experiences through photos and videos as they embark on their shopping spree.

Over the next two months, follow along on their journeys at www.soberjulie.com and www.extremecouponingmom.ca. CAA Life-side Connections will also be following the challenge.

By the end of the challenge, the bloggers will have to earn enough CAA dollars to pay for two CAA Plus memberships (approx. value $210). The first blogger to do so will win a $100 gift card.
