The Canadian Nuclear Society will hold its 31st annual conference at the
Hilton Bonaventure in Montreal, Tuesday to Thursday, May 25-27, 2010
MONTREAL, May 18 /CNW/ - "Atoms for Power, Health and the Environment" is the theme for this year's gathering of nuclear industry experts from across Canada and around the world. This theme reflects a growing recognition of nuclear technology's many roles in supporting economic growth, medical advances, and environmental protection. It also reflects the exciting advancements taking place within Canada's nuclear science and technology community in order to meet these needs.
Topics for discussion at this conference will include: the nuclear renaissance in Canada and around the world, recent developments at Canadian utilities, plans for plant refurbishment and new build, and medical isotope supply issues.
