An incomparable entertainment experience
GATINEAU, QC, June 13, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - A North American first, the Zone is the Casino du Lac-Leamy's latest innovation that brings together multimedia technology, an electronic gaming network and social interaction to create an outstanding entertainment experience in a single location.
The Zone is an avant-garde concept that offers forty multi-game terminals linked to a multimedia environment to provide a lively and festive ambiance in one location. Players can enjoy blackjack, baccarat, roulette or slot machine one after the other on the same terminal.
"The Zone is part of our strategy to diversify, modernize and make the Québec casino gaming experience more dynamic," explained Alain Miroux, General Manager of the Casino du LacLeamy and Casino de Mont-Tremblant. "Renovations to Casino installations and the addition of exceptional new features in gaming areas will help maintain our position as a key entertainment destination in the region."

The concept for the Zone was developed by the SCQ in cooperation with Loto-Québec subsidiaries Ingenio and Technologies Nter. The Zone will be reproduced in the other three Québec casinos, although the schedule for their implementation has yet to be determined.
The Casino du Lac-Leamy
Built on an exceptional natural site in a former quarry on the shore of Lac Leamy, the Casino du Lac-Leamy was inaugurated on March24,1996. Approximately three million visits are recorded each year, and 1,600 persons work there.
