MONTREAL, June 10, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Centraide of Greater Montreal will be able to count on two recognized business leaders to head up its next fundraising campaign.
Marc Parent, President and Chief Executive Officer of CAE, and Michael E. Roach, President and Chief Executive Officer of CGI, will co-chair Centraide's 2013 campaign cabinet comprised of close to thirty top executives from all industries (for the list of cabinet members, click here).
These volunteers will devote time and energy to visiting the heads of companies and organizations in the metropolitan area in order to convince them to support Centraide by making a corporate donation and organizing a workplace campaign for their employees next fall.
The campaign 2013 will officially begin on October 1st with Centraide's 22nd annual March of 1,000 Umbrellas in downtown Montreal.
The donations made to Centraide will provide essential funding for over 370 community agencies on Montreal Island, in Laval and on the South Shore that offer services and support to families, youth, seniors and people with disabilities.
