The Children's Aid Foundation's 13th Annual Women's Golf Classic Returns With A Star-Studded Line Up
TORONTO, May 27, 2013 /CNW/ - One of the Children's Aid Foundation's most highly anticipated annual signature events, the Women's Golf Classic presented by Rogers, will be celebrating its 13th year on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Eagles Nest Golf Club, in Maple, Ontario.
Toronto's most successful and influential women will trade in the boardroom for the golf course, where they will be able to get up close and personal with notable Canadian sports celebrities Elizabeth Manley, Angela James, Vicky Sunohara, Sami Jo Small, Marnie McBean and Rogers' Sportsnet anchor Evanka Osmak. Internationally acclaimed film producer and screenwriter Deepah Mehta and the National Ballet of Canada's Jillian Vanstone will also be making appearances.
Guests attending this spectacular golf experience will receive red-carpet treatment from the moment they arrive with complimentary valet parking, car wash, morning massages provided by Sutherland-Chan and a very generous swag bag. A day of golf will begin with a morning golf clinic from LPGA Golf Pro Sandra Post.
Following the round of golf in the Women's Golf Classic Spa overlooking a beautiful vista of rolling hills, Dino Dilio, Beauty Expert and a regular on CityLine, will lead the makeup and hair artistry teams from George Brown College. Makeup is courtesy of Bourjois Paris and nail services provided by Lux-Spa, they will be providing massages, manicures, makeup applications and blowouts.
A wonderful post-golf spa experience will be followed by epicurean dining provided by celebrity chef Trista Sheen, one of the final three chefs "Top Chef Canada" now Executive Chef at Crush Wine Bar. Peller Estates Winery is donating wine for the cocktail reception and dinner to complement the delectable five-star menu being specially created.
Joining guests on the course and the evening's official emcee is one of Canada's finest and funniest celebrity entertainers, Meg Soper. Live auction will be led by official auctioneer Aly Boltman who will be encouraging bids on some great items including a Shopping Spree at the Hudson's Bay Company's - The Room, an EBEL Onde Swiss Watch, and private celebrity dinners.
