MONTREAL, Oct. 18, 2017 /CNW/ -- The World Design Summit-Montreal 2017 – China Pavilion, which is hosted by China Ministry of Commerce, organized by Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce, and co-organized by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd., kicked off on 17th October, 2017 at Palais des congres in Montreal, Canada. This is the very first time that we have the Chinese Design in World Design Summit-Montreal (WDSM). The exhibition includes six design sections as follows: Architectural Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning.
In this China Pavilion, we have China's most representative designers and the design organizations to present their own styles: Zhoujie Zhang is the leader in Digital Design area, Chenchen Zhou has won the SPECIAL MENTION in Salone del Mobile, Milano-Salone Satellite, Yanrong Pan the winner of Kan Tai-Keung Design Award, newly outstanding graphic designer Wenbin Han, and the winner of Architecture Prize in the 2016 American Architecture Price (APP): LYCS Architecture.
The main objective of the WDSM is to develop a joint view of design professionals all over the world and to facilitate communications between decision makers, industrial representatives and the media. In the last few years, due to the acceleration of Chinese Manufacture Industrial transformation and upgrading, also the rapid development of industrial service, lots of great design organizations and individuals have been well-known. In this WDSM, they present together as China Pavilion, which not only demonstrates our development of local design services, but also provides a platform for our designers to communicate with foreigner professionals. This helps to create the connections between China local design professions and worldwide concepts. Thus, it will have profound impacts on accelerating internationalization of the Chinese Design Industry.
