The Colony Project takes home Silver at the 2017 strategy PR Agency of the Year Awards less than two years after opening its doors
TORONTO, Nov. 10, 2017 /CNW/ - The Colony Project, one of Canada's fastest growing PR start-ups, has been named 2017 strategy PR agency of the Year Silver. The award arrives not even two years after The Colony Project opened its doors by Managing Director, Amanda Shuchat, to create an agency that reaches new audiences and develops integrated PR-led campaigns for some of Canada's biggest brands and rising start-ups.
In recognizing The Colony Project with this award, the strategy Agency of the Year Silver awards highlights The Colony Project's goal to do things differently and drive brand awareness by reaching new audiences.
For The Colony Project, this award speaks to the agency's rapid growth, strong roster of dynamic clients, and the firm's proven track record for working with leading brands to improve the business impact of their communications strategies. The Colony Project attributes its initial success - having grown from 3-17 clients since opening its doors in early 2016 – to the larger Vision7 network that counts Cossette and Citizen Relations among its sister agencies.
"The Colony Project does things differently, both with our clients and our team," said The Colony Project's Managing Director Amanda Shuchat. "When I first started The Colony Project, my goal was to create a collaborative team culture while executing industry-leading work, first-of-its-kind initiatives and innovative campaigns. I would like to thank all of our clients for their passion for creative work and trusted partnership that has fostered integrated, award-winning and recognizable communications programs."
About The Colony Project:
Born from the DNA of Citizen Relations, our agency is based on the idea of people working together creatively and passionately towards a common good. As an earned-first agency, we are built to uncover deep insights, smash boundaries and deliver meaningful results. Together we are problem solvers, trailblazers, and peacemakers. At our core, Colony is a start-up. When it comes down to it, our sister-agencies and career-long relationships helped get Colony off the ground. And it got us thinking...There are so many talented entrepreneurs, but many don't have the support system we benefit from. So we want to help. We want to be the start-up for start-ups.
