The Competition Bureau of Canada participates in consultation to modernize Canadian competition policy Français
GATINEAU, QC, Feb. 8, 2022 /CNW/ - Following Senator Howard Wetston's invitation to comment on Canada's competition policy framework, the Competition Bureau is pleased to publicly share its submission.
This submission contributes ideas and analysis to an on-going dialogue on modernizing and strengthening Canadian competition policy.
This submission recommends updating the Competition Act so that all Canadian consumers and businesses can prosper in a competitive and innovative marketplace, and have an equitable opportunity to participate in the Canadian economy. It is based on the Bureau's enforcement experience across all sectors of the economy.
