The Conference Board of Canada President and CEO, Daniel Muzyka to discuss Vancouver's housing market and the influence of non-resident residential demand with members of the Vancouver Board of Trade
VANCOUVER, Oct. 16, 2014 /CNW/ - Daniel Muzyka will be sharing The Conference Board of Canada's view of Vancouver's housing market and price trends as part of the Vancouver Board of Trade's Real Estate Forum.
In his keynote presentation "Vancouver's Housing Marketing: the non-resident influence", Daniel will discuss how the city's exorbitant house prices seem decoupled from its local economy and the ongoing influence of Chinese economic and political events on city housing markets. He will also suggest Vancouver could improve housing affordability by learning from lessons abroad regarding foreign purchases of residential properties.
Media are invited to attend the Forum and participate in an open Q&A session. Daniel Muzyka will be available to arrange for private interviews later in the day.
