The East Coast Exotic Car Show Announces Porsche 919 Hybrid Race Car Coming to Halifax

HALIFAX, June 26, 2016 /CNW/ - The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Chapter, is pleased to announce an exclusive stop at Halifax's East Coast Exotic Car Show for the Porsche 919 Hybrid Race car – winner of the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans and Manufacturer's title in the 2015 World Endurance Championship.
"The East Coast Exotic Car Show is the only Eastern Canadian stop for the Porsche 919 Hybrid," said Steve Amand, General Manager, Porsche of Halifax. "This will give all attendees at the East Coast Exotic Car Show a rare opportunity to learn about the incredibly advanced E-Hybrid technology Porsche has been pioneering since 1900."
"Car enthusiasts and hybrid technology fans will want to mark August 20th in their calendars," said Cheryl Matthews, Director of The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Chapter. "Porsche Cars Canada Ltd. has generously included Halifax as the final Canadian opportunity to see this rare Porsche 919 in person."
Funds raised from the East Coast Exotic Car Show will help grant wishes to Canadian children diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
