The Electronic Recycling Association of Alberta (Calgary) ERA.CA: Flood relief from ERA www.era.ca
CALGARY, June 21, 2013 /CNW/ - The Electronic Recycling Association is happy to announce help with the flood relief efforts in Alberta. Organizations and people, charitable or otherwise, affected by the floods can request replacement computers to the ones damaged in the flood.
ERA will attempt to provide as many computers as possible to any persons or organizations that had their equipment destroyed in the floods in Calgary, and southern Alberta.
ERA will also be providing internet access and phone lines for as long as we have power and internet, to people to keep in touch with family. People with RVs, Cars, Dogs or Cats, can bring them to the ERA Ogden warehouse.
Paduh said: "We aim to give something back to the local community. I came to Canada as a 12 year old refugee myself so I know first hand that a little bit of support can make an amazing difference to people's lives."
Also, earlier this month ERA.CA challenged Google's $200 Google laptop offer - with its own ERA.CA $100 refurbished laptop offer for low income families and access to low cost equipment for small businesses with ultra-secure OPEN-BSD open source operating system.
