The eSports Lounge at Elements Casino Partners with Team Canada at the CS:GO WESG Global eSports Finals in Changzhou, China
SURREY, BC, Jan. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - The eSports Lounge at Elements Casino is proud to announce its partnership with Team Canada as they aim to secure a title at the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG).
The WESG tournament begins on Jan. 12, 2017 in Changzhou, China with teams from 24 countries competing in Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). The tournament is a three-stage qualifier in which each participating team must have five players from their respective countries. The game that will be played for the win is CS:GO, a multiplayer first-person shooter game that is the leading eSports title in its category. The prize pool of the tournament is an estimated $2.5 million.
