MONTREAL, April 4, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Federation of Quebec Alzheimer Societies and its 20 regional Alzheimer Societies are proud to introduce its new Walk for Memories website.
The Walk for Memories website allows participants to easily create a walker profile, to form or join a team. If you cannot walk with us on May 26th, you may wish to support a walker, create your profile and collect or make donations to the Alzheimer Society of your Quebec region. Whether you choose to walk or make a donation, your participation will make a difference and will support those living with Alzheimer and other type of dementia.
On Sunday, May 26, thousands of Quebecers will take part in one of many Walk for Memories around Quebec, orchestrated by the 20 regional Alzheimer Societies. Your donations will help the Federation of Quebec Alzheimer Societies and its 20 regional Alzheimer Societies to fund services and programs to people affected by the disease: consultations and follow ups, support groups, respite and stimulation, training, awareness, care facilities, MedicAlert® and to promote research for its causes, treatments and a cure.
