MONTREAL, Nov. 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Tonight, nearly 340 guests gathered for the Leucan Experience, the Association's glamorous annual benefit gala, which helped raise $275,000 for cancer-stricken children.
"The organizing committee, ambassadors and partners all worked very hard to deliver an event equal to the 35th anniversary of the Association. Mission accomplished! I was especially moved by the performance of Gregory, a young Leucan member, who, despite his disease and numerous treatments, has kept his passion for piano alive," said Mr. Alain Champagne, Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Distribution and Operations, McKesson Canada and Honorary President of the Leucan Experience.
The brilliant host of the evening, Mr. Benoit Brière, was joined by an impressive number of public figures: Andréanne A. Malette; Sophie Beaudet; Mirianne Brûlée; Ariane Brunet; Steve Charbonneau; Isabelle Charest; Geneviève Déry; Nathalie Gascon; Bertrand Godin; Benoit Huot; Louise Lavoie; Xavier Morin-Lefort; Mahée Paiement; Dominic Paquet; Dominique Pétin; Jason Roy-Léveillée; Jacques Rougeau; Joey Scarpellino; Stefie Shock and Marie-Josée Tremblay.
The success of the Leucan Experience depends on the contribution of generous individuals. A big thank you to our Honorary President, Mr. Alain Champagne, and to our ambassadors: Mrs. Renée Larouche (Rio Tinto Alcan); Mr. Luc Bisaillon (RBC Royal Bank); Mr. Vincenzo Amodeo (Ristorante Da Vinci); Mr. Denis Boulais (Delhi-Solac Inc.); Mr. Angelo D'Amico (D'Amico Family Wealth Management Group of RBC Dominion Securities Inc.); Mr. Ronald Dahms (Optimum Talent, Mr. Christian Gauvin Wampole Inc. - Swiss laboratories); Mr. Daniel Gosselin (KPMG Canada); Mr. Geoffroy Guilbault (Spiegel Sohmer); and Mrs. Paule Labelle (Cava Rose).
