MONTREAL, April 28, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - During the COVID-19 pandemic, when solidarity is more important than ever, the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation recognizes the dedication of Children's employees who have generously accepted to lend a hand at two CHSLDs and the CIUSSS de l'Ouest de l'Île de Montréal. The Foundation is therefore providing free meals to help make life a little easier for these everyday Heroes for the duration of their special assignments.
Stronger together to help our most vulnerable
"Thanks to our donors' generosity, we have the chance to recognize the sense of community of these devoted health care workers who normally treat children, but are now working on the front lines to help their young patients' grandparents and great-grandparents," affirmed Foundation President Renée Vézina.
The Children's Foundation hopes that providing free meals to these exceptional employees will help to give them the energy they need to carry out their mission over the next few weeks. Another wonderful example of how the Children's is finding unexpected ways to heal.
