The Montreal Heart Institute ranks first in Research Infosource's prestigious "Canada's Top 40 Research Hospitals List "

MONTREAL, Oct. 30, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) is ranked the number one research hospital in Canada for research intensity and research income per researcher according to Research Infosource's "Canada's Top 40 Research Hospitals List" published on October 28, 2015.

As the premier cardiovascular centre in Canada, the Montreal Heart Institute is positioned as a leader in research. The MHI ranks first in Canada with an average funding of $ 705,500 per researcher. The Desmarais Family Research Centre at the Montreal Heart Institute houses both clinical research and basic research under the same roof.
