The Movember Foundation Helps Kick Off Men's Depression & Suicide Network Summit in Parliament Hill
The leading men's health organization visits Ottawa to raise awareness for men's health and mental health
OTTAWA, Sept. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - From September 19 – 22, The Movember Foundation visits Ottawa with the Men's Depression & Suicide Network to raise awareness for men's health and mental health. As leading funders in men's mental health and suicide prevention in Canada, the Foundation has funded 37 projects since 2013 and invested nearly 23 million in this sector to date.
On September 19 The Movember Foundation Leadership and Programs Teams will host an event on Parliament Hill to discuss the global suicide crisis. With 7 men dying from suicide in Canada every day, Movember Foundation's key spokespeople will speak to why we can't afford to stay silent, and what the Foundation is doing to address the issue through it's programmatic involvement and collaboration.
