BROSSARD, QC, May 18, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Nadine Lindsay, the new President and CEO of the Organisme d'autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), took advantage of the Organization's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held yesterday to impart her vision of real estate and mortgage brokerage. Ms. Lindsay is adamant: the OACIQ's public protection mission needs to be more widely disseminated.
"As President and CEO of the OACIQ, I have a strong desire to ensure that consumers gain an even better understanding of the Organization's protection mandate and all the related mechanisms that benefit property buyers and sellers who choose to do business with a real estate or mortgage broker," comments Nadine Lindsay. "Achieving this crucial goal requires strong leadership in the areas of real estate and mortgage brokerage, as well as collaboration throughout the industry in order to establish healthy competition and help create a strong economic society."
For OACIQ Chairman Serge Brousseau, the arrival of Nadine Lindsay is certainly a step towards attaining that goal: "This is great news for the OACIQ, the general public and the fields of real estate and mortgage brokerage. Thanks to her vast organizational experience, strategic vision and leadership, she is the ideal leader to help the OACIQ pursue its public protection and broker oversight mission," explains Mr. Brousseau.
A solid background
A law graduate from Université Laval, Nadine Lindsay has 20 years of experience in the fields of real estate brokerage and financial services, in both national and international companies.
