The Ordre des dentistes du Québec Marks World Oral Health Day 2014
MONTREAL, March 19, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - On March 20 every year, World Oral Health Day is a time to highlight the importance of oral health and its links with general health. An initiative of the World Dental Federation, this year's WOHD recalls the direct impact of good dental health on daily life. Hence the theme, "Celebrating healthy smiles."
"It goes without saying that we have to think about our oral health every day," explains Dr. Barry Dolman, President of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec. "But it's important to take the time to celebrate the benefits of a healthy mouth, too. That's why we have World Oral Health Day."
The Order wants to offer the public a source of quality information on health and oral care with its maboucheensante.com website, a user-friendly portal packed with useful information. The portal, launched last fall, is the centrepiece of the Order's new advertising campaign on television, radio and the Web, until April 13. Watch and listen for it!
