THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF CANADA (RSC) 2010 MEDAL AND AWARD RECIPIENTS
OTTAWA, Sept. 13 /CNW/ - The Royal Society of Canada has announced the recipients of 12 medals and awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in several fields of research and scholarship.
"We are so delighted that these scholars have been recognized for their outstanding achievements in the social sciences, in the arts and humanities, and in the sciences," said RSC President Roderick A. Macdonald. "This recognition speaks to the impact of the research of the recipients internationally as well to their contributions to Canadian intellectual culture."
The medals and awards will be presented at the Society's Induction & Awards Ceremony on the afternoon of Saturday, November 27, 2010.
