TORONTO, April 8, 2015 /CNW/ - As announced live today on THE SOCIAL, CTV's hit daily talk series is set to experience Disney magic firsthand when it heads to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California for THE SOCIAL's first-ever, on-location shows, airing Thursday, May 21 andFriday, May 22 at 1 p.m. ET (2 p.m. AT) on CTV and CTV GO. In a place where memories are made and dreams come true, co-hosts Melissa Grelo (@melissagrelo), Cynthia Loyst (@cynthialoyst), Lainey Lui (@LaineyGossip), and Traci Melchor (@stayfabulous) will welcome celebrity guests and chat about news, pop culture, and fashion against the scenic backdrop of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration for the theme park's 60th anniversary. The guest lineup for both episodes will be announced next month.

The two episodes from Disneyland Resort will be shot in front of an audience, and will feature the co-hosts along with digital correspondent Jessica Allen (@jessieraeallen) and style expert Erica Wark (@EricaonFashion).
Currently in its second season, THE SOCIAL reaches 2.5 million Canadians a week on CTV. With a current season average of 255,000 viewers, THE SOCIAL 's average audience has increased 45% versus the same period last year, and the series has also seen double-digit growth among all key adult demos, up 57% A18-34, 74% A18-49, and 57% A25-54.
THE SOCIAL delivers an innovative forum for viewers to debate and discuss the topics of the day by interacting with the co-hosts through Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Each show kicks-off with a round-table chat featuring the buzz-worthy subjects Canadians are talking or tweeting about, including headlines of the day, celebrity news, and trending topics. The round-table is followed by lifestyle segments inspired by viewers, and celebrity interviews.
THE SOCIAL airs live weekdays at 1 p.m. ET (2 p.m. AT) on CTV. Episodes also air at 2 p.m. ET on CTV Two, 6 p.m. ET on M3, and at9 a.m. ET onE! the day following their broadcast premieres.
