The Society for the Celebration of Montréal's 375th Anniversary seeking 6,000 volunteers for the 2017 festivities Français
MONTRÉAL, April 11, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - As we mark National Volunteer Week, the Society for the Celebration of Montréal's 375th Anniversary is looking for people who love Montréal and want to take part in this important event in 2017. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to get involved to fill a number of positions available in hospitality, security and production support. Some 6,000 volunteers will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique and interactive experience at the heart of the action during Montréal's 375th anniversary.

- dynamic, polite and possess strong interpersonal skills
- interested in getting involved in their neighbourhood or major show and activities

"The Society already counts on the support of more than a hundred volunteers from different backgrounds who are on its board of directors and various committees," explained Alain Gignac, General Manager of the Society for the Celebration of Montréal's 375th Anniversary. "In one year, these people have devoted hundreds of volunteer hours organizing the 375th anniversary. Now, we are extending the invitation to everyone, especially to students, retirees and everyone who loves Montréal to come and celebrate our city's dynamism and get a behind-the-scenes look at the celebrations."
