The spotlight continues for Canada's Got Talent finalists dance trio Sagkeeng's Finest and beatboxer "KRNFX" during week 5 of semifinals
- Week 5 finalists join previously announced country singer Ivan Daigle, rapper Mathew Cathcart, dancer Shale Wagman, opera singer Emilio Fina, rock band Angry Candy, beatboxer Scott Jackson, dance group Freshh and opera singer Julie Lafontaine in the finals, May 13 -
- Canada's Got Talent airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. and Monday nights at 9 p.m. local time on Citytv -
TORONTO, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Featuring a powerful performance by judge Stephan Moccio, it was another unpredictable and emotional, live Canada's Got Talent results show earlier this evening on Citytv. As the Week 5 semifinalists anxiously awaited their fate, Dina Pugliese delivered the good news that Manitoba's traditional dance trio Sagkeeng's Finest were the highest vote-getters and would be advancing to the Canada's Got Talent finals. Of the acts who placed second and third amongst voters, judges Martin Short, Measha Brueggergosman and Stephan Moccio selected Toronto beatboxer "KRNFX" to join Sagkeeng's Finest in the finals.
Sagkeeng's Finest and "KRNFX" will perform in the Canada's Got Talent finals on May 13 alongside previously announced finalists country singer Ivan Daigle (Petitcodiac, NB), rapper Mathew Cathcart (Hamilton, ON), dancer Shale Wagman (Toronto), opera singer Emilio Fina (Petersburg, ON), rock band Angry Candy (Moncton, NB), beatboxer Scott Jackson, hip hop dance group Freshh (Vancouver), opera singer Julie Lafontaine (Montreal).
