Visa Infinite cardholders can purchase exclusive tickets for screenings at Roy Thomson Hall
TORONTO, Sept. 2 /CNW/ - Visa, a proud sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival® since 1997, today announced that Visa Infinite cardholders will be able to take advantage of exclusive offers, in addition to the popular privileges made available to all Visa cardholders.
New this year, Visa Infinite cardholders will receive special access to one of The Festival's most celebrated venues, Roy Thomson Hall. Eight box seats will be reserved exclusively for purchase by Visa Infinite cardholders at each of Roy Thomson Hall's two daily screenings.1
Visa Infinite cardholders will also receive special access to tickets for the following Roy Thomson Hall screenings:
- The Town - Saturday, September 11 at 9:30 p.m. Marking Ben Affleck's anticipated return to directing after his successful directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone, The Town is set in the Boston neighbourhood of Charlestown, where Doug MacRay (Affleck) heads a group of bank robbers. This smart, dramatic thriller also stars Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Renner and Chris Cooper.
- Barney's Version - Sunday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. From director Richard J. Lewis and renowned Canadian producer Robert Lantos, Barney's Version is a film based on Mordecai Richler's prize-winning comic novel. Barney Panofsky (Paul Giamatti) is a seemingly ordinary man who lives an extraordinary life. The star cast also features Dustin Hoffman, Rosamund Pike, Minnie Driver, Rachelle Lefevre and Scott Speedman.

The Visa Screening Room, located at the historic Elgin Theatre, is one of the most distinguished venues in the world for film premieres. In recent years, the Visa Screening Room has hosted such notable and award-winning films as Crash, No Country for Old Men, Rachel Getting Married and The Wrestler. Earlier this summer, Visa cardholders once again received the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance of the general public earlier.
