The Team at Kruger Products' Gatineau Mills are #RollingItForward For Frontline Healthcare Workers at L'Hôpital de Gatineau, Quebec Today
TORONTO, May 5, 2020 /CNW/ - More than 1,200 hardworking frontline healthcare workers at L'Hôpital de Gatineau will receive much-needed personal care packages of made-in-Quebec tissue products courtesy of their admirers at Kruger Products' Gatineau Mills, today. "Our team of 400 employees wants to recognize the healthcare heroes who put their lives on the line to protect us every day," says Daniel Morneau, General Manager at the Gatineau Mills. "And today we're #RollingItForward with much-needed gifts of Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, SpongeTowels Paper Towel and Scotties Facial Tissue in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Canada."
The Gatineau Mills has a rich, one-hundred-year history in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. It employs more than 400 people who play a critical role manufacturing and distributing top quality tissue products across Canada. "Our Gatineau Mills team takes tremendous pride in our beautiful location, with views of parliament and the Ottawa River, and the tight-knit communities that surround it," says Mr. Morneau. Philanthropic Community Leader
The Gatineau Mills has a longstanding tradition of supporting its neighbours in times of need, including: the tornado of 2018, the 2019 flood, and now, the COVID-19 global pandemic. Earlier this year, the Gatineau Mills family raised more than $12,000 for local charities including the Gatineau Social Pediatric Centre, and Moisson Outaouais. Kruger Products also reached agreement with the National Capital Commission to turn one of its Gatineau Mills private parking lots into a gorgeous new public park, set to open in 2021.
