MONTREAL, Oct. 18, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada (TVAC) requests, as part of its commemoration event for the greatest pharmaceutical tragedy of the century that affected more than a hundred Canadian families known to date, that the Canadian government, in the same manner as the British government did, presents an official and public apology to all the Canadian families and the survivors of thalidomide, for failing its duty of vigilance and protection of public health.
