QUEBEC CITY, Oct. 7, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The International Summit of Cooperatives, which took place in Québec City from October 6 to 9, is proud to announce the winners of the inaugural edition of its TOP.COOP competition.
The international competition's aim is to showcase and honour enterprises that promote their cooperative or mutualist positioning through innovative advertising campaigns and communication offensives. The first edition received some 30 entries from 10 countries from around the world! And no less than 24 jury members representing 16 different nationalities determined the finalists in several categories.
On October 7, during the International Summit of Cooperatives in Québec City, Suzanne Gendron, Managing Vice-President, Desjardins Group Cooperation and Corporate Affairs; Charles Gould, Director-General of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA); and Jan Schiettecatte, Director of Communications of the ICA, had the great honour of presenting the awards to the delighted winners. In total, there were 8 winners, hailing from 6 countries.
