The Toronto Argonauts Serve Thanksgiving Dinner for The Salvation Army this Saturday
TORONTO, Oct. 9, 2013 /CNW/ - On Saturday, October 12, 2013, the Toronto Argonauts will partner once again with The Salvation Army to serve a community dinner for more than 600 at The Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light Ministries and Homestead Addiction Services, 160 Jarvis Street, Toronto starting at 3:00 p.m.
This year's event marks the 16th anniversary of the partnership between the Toronto Argonauts and The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army would like to recognize the Argonauts for their continued dedication and support in helping serve meals to the marginalized of our community.
"The Salvation Army Harbour Light and Homestead Addiction Services are delighted that the Argos are continuing to partner with us and helping with our efforts to reach out to the community by providing and serving this Thanksgiving meal," said Major Elizabeth Price, Executive Director for the Toronto Harbour Light Ministries and Homestead Addiction Services.
