Travel health insurance: Ensure your claim is paid
TORONTO, Nov. 19, 2014 /CNW/ - Travel health insurance is designed to pay claims. In fact, more than 95 per cent of Canada's more than 100,000 annual travel health insurance claims are paid. The Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA) wants all travellers to be covered in the event of unexpected health emergencies such as the case of the Saskatoon woman who went into unexpected premature labour while on vacation.
Will McAleer, Vice-President of the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA), is available to talk about what Canadians should know when buying travel health insurance to ensure that their claims are paid.
