Engineering Award
</pre> <p>MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, <span class="xn-chron">Oct. 12</span> /CNW/ -- The Canadian Green Chemistry and Engineering Network (CGCEN) has acknowledged the environmental stewardship of The Woodbridge Group®, by presenting it with the inaugural Ontario Green Chemistry and Engineering Award (Organization). This award is presented to an organization which is based in Ontario and which has made significant contributions to the field of green chemistry and engineering, including the technical, economic, human health and environmental benefits. The Woodbridge Group® was honoured to accept this award from the Chemical Institute of <span class="xn-location">Canada</span> (CIC) and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, during the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) 2010 Conference on Green Chemistry.</p> <p/> <p>As Robert B. Magee, Chairman & CEO, The Woodbridge Group®, delivered his acceptance speech he said, "On behalf of our Scientists, our Engineers and our dedicated workforce, it is my pleasure and distinct honour to represent them and accept the first Green Chemistry and Engineering Award ever offered. On this occasion I would like to also recognize our valuable customers, our joint venture partners around the world, our global suppliers and our strategic world polyurethane alliance. Without their contributions the gaining of this award would not have been possible or achievable. Each century has its ideals that influence and shape the significant events that characterize it in the history books.
