Many free activities to create excitement on the site are being planned, starting at 11 a.m.
Activities for everyone
To get into the swing of this final match, artists will be on hand to apply makeup to youngsters and adults alike, so they can sport the colours of their favourite team. Meanwhile, mini soccer fields will be set up for short games between teams of four players, and there will also be plenty of fun games and entertainment, along with DJs who will be playing some muy caliente music to enliven the festivities.
And after the game the festivities continue at Place des Traditions with the must-see Montréal Brazilian Summer Carnival, where samba dancers with their flashy costumes, athletes who practise the capoeira (Brazilian martial arts) and percussionists will get people of every community dancing to the frenetic beat of the music.
