Thousands Gather to Celebrate Feast for the Senses at ICE, WINE & DINE
- Food, wine, live music and free performances descend on Elm Street for Winter Magic -
TORONTO, Nov. 12 /CNW/ - Tucked away within one of Toronto's busiest neighbourhoods, Elm Street is a trendy hidden gem for those in the know. On Saturday, November 13th from 4-10pm, the charming street comes alive for Ice, Wine & Dine - a dynamic Downtown Yonge Winter Magic event with a host of delicious treats and wine pairings, fabulous live music, street entertainers and incredible visual spectacles. Visitors will enjoy roaming the beautifully decorated street while sampling delicious appetizers and cocktails and are welcome to warm up indoors where restaurants will be hosting sit-down guests as usual. Outside, participating restaurants amuse taste buds with homemade specialties under $5 like two-bite burgers, jerk chicken and deep fried mars bars. Delta Chelsea Sommelier, Elayne Bassett, delights visitors with Argentinean wine tastings in the Ice Martini Lounge and enjoy wine pairings that complement the vegetarian palate on the Commensal patio with Doris Miculan Bradley. Entertainment highlights include: fire performers and stilt walkers from Zero Gravity Circus, live jazz from the Roberto Rosenman Quartet, live ice carvings, magic shows, fortune-tellers and the uplifting sounds of a capella barbershop quartet, Nitro.
