Thousands of Children Embrace Winter Through the Magic of Kidzfest
- Live music, rides, cartoon celebrities and dinosaurs entertain at Yonge-Dundas -
TORONTO, Nov. 26 /CNW/ - It's a child's paradise at Yonge-Dundas Square this weekend, where families will enjoy kid-friendly rides, face-painting, crafts and interactive performances, bound to put kids of all ages in a holiday mood. A free two-day event presented by the Downtown Yonge BIA, Kidzfest features guest appearances from cartoon celebrities Pikachu, Kai-lan and Miss Spider. Adventurous tots can ride around in a dragon wagon, zip down an inflatable slide and whirl around in a pair of boots. Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs packs prehistoric fun into the first performance of the weekend, followed by a slew of musical guests such as Cindy Cook from Polka Dot Door and Splash 'N Boots. Engaging and educational wildlife shows including Jungle Cat World and Birds of Prey entertain all ages.
Kidzfest is a free event taking place on Saturday and Sunday, November 27th and 28th as part of the Downtown Yonge BIA's Winter Magic festivities. Further information is available at www.wintermagic.ca or through the Winter Magic iPhone App available for download through the Apple Store.
