Three-peat For OMD At The Top Of RECMA Diagnostics Report
NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - In the latest edition of the Network Diagnostics report from the Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry (RECMA), Omnicom Media Group agency OMD Worldwide has been named the number one ranked global media network. This latest ranking marks the third time in as many years that OMD has topped the Network Diagnostics report, which RECMA added to its portfolio of measurement indices in 2010. Additionally, in its July 2012 Global Billings report, RECMA ranked OMD the largest global media agency by billings, with 10.7 percent of market share.
The Network Diagnostics report evaluates global agencies against a set of 14 Key Performance Indicators segmented in four categories -- Competitiveness in Pitches, Momentum, Specialized Resources and Client Profile -- to produce an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the business performance and areas of strength of all media agencies across the world. The January 28th report reflects new business performances, structure developments and changes to agency management up to early January 2013.
In addition to its global ranking, OMD also showed a high degree of consistency across regions, earning the number one ranking for both the US and APAC.
