Accompass launches Executive Compensation practice with expert team
TORONTO, Sept. 13, 2016 /CNW/ - Michael Worb, founder and chief executive officer of Canadian human resources company Accompass, welcomed a team of highly respected Executive Compensation consultants to the company today. Anand Parsan and his team from Korn Ferry Hay Group, including Paula Gimenez and Neil Swiggum, have joined Accompass to build on an industry-leading Executive Compensation practice.
The newly branded Executive Compensation practice applies Accompass' uniquely attentive approach to client service to advising Boards and management on the strategy, design, and governance of compensation and incentives for CEOs, senior leaders, and non-employee directors. It will advise clients on the full range of total rewards for executives, including short- and long-term incentive plans, executive health benefits and pension plans.
"At Accompass, we believe the big picture and the smallest detail hold equal importance," said Worb. "That is especially critical in the demanding area of Executive Compensation."
The three new team members join Accompass compensation consultants Steven Osiel and Angela Wai, who have been advising clients on both broad-based and executive compensation at Accompass since 2007.
"Anand, Paula, and Neil are a perfect complement to our team," said Sarah Beech, President at Accompass. "Not only do they bring unique expertise and a stellar reputation, they're a great cultural fit. Our team is made up of extraordinary talent who share a belief in treating every client like they are our only client."
The launch of the practice demonstrates recognition of the unique sensitivities and considerations surrounding Executive Compensation. "When it comes to questions like how to incentivize C-suite performance, cookie-cutter solutions often have unintended consequences," said Anand Parsan, who will lead the Executive Compensation practice. "At Accompass we will consider more possibilities and design plans to uniquely fit each client's business."
Parsan brings over 20 years of international experience as an HR professional and is a faculty member of The Directors College, a corporate director development program. He is a frequent presenter and commentator on compensation issues at professional conferences, including HRPA, GTA Rewards, and Conference Board of Canada; on national television, including BNN; and in print, including The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, and Listed Magazine.
