TORONTO, Jan. 12, 2014 /CNW/ - Many Ontarians will be on 'cloud 6/49' after last night's draw. A ticket sold in Kitchener and a ticket sold in Toronto share the $5 million jackpot from the January 11, 2014 draw. Each of these tickets is worth $2.5 million.
And there were additional winners across the province. Winning tickets sold in the Chatham region and Toronto share the second prize pool. Each of these tickets is worth $119,947.70. Also there were three winning ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, sold in Woodstock, Brampton and St. Catharines.
Since LOTTO 6/49 was launched in June 1982, Ontario players have won more than $10 billion in prizes, including 1,271 jackpot wins. As of January 2, 2014, there have been 3,125 LOTTO 6/49 draws. For more information, please visit www.olg.ca and click on Lotteries.
