PERTH, Western Australia, Oct. 14 /CNW/ - Tiger Resources Limited (ASX/TSX: TGS) advises a change in its financial year-end from 30 June to 31 December. This change synchronises Tiger's financial reporting with that of its subsidiaries in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which, under local law, are required to have a December financial year-end and will facilitate the delivery of consistent reporting to shareholders, financiers and other stakeholders.

Tiger's most recent financial year ended on 30 June 2010. The change of financial year end means that the Company's next audited financial report will cover the six month period from 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2010 with subsequent annual financial reports covering the twelve months ending 31 December.
