Timothy's World Coffee® Announces Launch of Bagged Coffee in Ontario and Atlantic Canada
TORONTO, April 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Timothy's World Coffee® is thrilled to announce that their premium ground coffee bags are now available at retail across Ontario and Atlantic Canada and at Timothys.ca. Renowned for both their ethical and exceptional specialty-grade coffees, Timothy's® international varieties from Italian to Columbian are now even easier to enjoy at home.
"Timothy's® is your passport to discovering a world of coffee," said Tracey Noakes, Brand Manager, Timothy's World Coffee®. "By offering this additional format, we are giving customers even more opportunity to savour international flavours."
Until now, Timothy's®, which is among the fastest-growing coffee brands in Canada, could only be savoured in Timothy's® cafés, or in K-Cup® packs for use in Keurig® Single Cup brewers, available for purchase online at http://www.timothys.ca/ and in more than 3,000 retail stores nationwide. Due to the growing demand by Canadians for a unique and exotic premium coffee experience at home, Timothy's® is adding the traditional coffee format of ground bags to retail stores.
At launch, four varieties will be available for Canadian coffee consumers to bring home to enjoy, including several of Timothy's® most popular flavours, each 100% Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM. They include:
- Breakfast Blend: Light roast, Central & South America
- Colombian Excelencia: Medium roast, Central & South America
- Italian Blend: Medium roast, European-inspired
- Hazelnut: Flavoured Medium roast, European-inspired
Ontarians and Atlantic Canadians hold a special fondness for Timothy's® as the brand proudly operates nearly 80 cafés in the two regions. The regions have continually seen significant growth in awareness and appreciation for the brand which has served customers its unique flavours for decades.
"Whether you get your Timothy's® coffee at home or a café, it will always be of upmost quality," continued Noakes. "That's because we purchase only the finest Arabica coffee beans from around the world and roast them at our own exclusive facility."
Timothy's® coffee is also available nationwide, with the branded K-Cup® packs sold in over 3,000 grocery and non-grocery retail stores as well as online at Timothys.ca.
