Tiny Survivors fundraiser on February 18 will benefit Royal Vic Neo-natal
Intensive Care Unit

MONTREAL, Feb. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - Two parents of severely premature babies and the companies they work for are spearheading a fundraiser for the Royal Victoria Hospital's Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on February 18, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

Organizers Luciano D'Iorio of Terramont Real Estate Services and Karen Aziz of Danson Décor are both parents of premature babies who spent the first precarious months of their lives in the NICU.

"The support our child received was unbelievable," says Luciano D'Iorio. "The parents are as fragile emotionally as the children are physically. My wife and I would not have gotten through this alone. The doctors, nurses and staff at the NICU literally saved my son's life and gave him the future we all want for our children."

Karen Aziz quotes the same sentiments regarding her son's NICU experience 10 years prior.

The event includes a cocktail, silent auction, entertainment and food. Tickets are $75 and all proceeds will go to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation for the NICU. All are welcome.
