'Tis the Season for a Sweet Thank You

Hershey opens Toronto pop-up store where visitors 'buy' chocolate for loved ones by 'paying' with a simple "Thank You"

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Nothing says "thank you" quite like delicious chocolate. Hershey today is announcing the opening of 'The Thank You Store' in downtown Toronto during the busy holiday shopping season, where you can receive a complimentary HERSHEY'S Chocolate Bar by simply providing a "thank you" to someone special in your life.

"We wanted to provide a fun, interactive and festive space for Canadians to enjoy over the busy holiday season, with the whole experience based around something as simple and enjoyable as HERSHEY'S chocolate," said Pete Vanslyke, Marketing Director for Chocolate at Hershey Canada. "It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season but it's nice to be able to pause and say thank you to the special people in our lives."

As part of the 'Thank You Store' brought to you by HERSHEY'S, visitors will also be invited to escape the cold and enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate made with HERSHEY'S Cocoa. Holiday shoppers are encouraged to take a moment, say "thank you" and enjoy the holiday season, all while receiving a sweet HERSHEY'S treat.

"The Thank You Store," brought to you by HERSHEY'S, will be open Dec. 19 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Dec. 20-21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 473 Queen St. West (Queen and Spadina). By providing a simple "thank you," visitors will have the choice to gift a loved one with a HERSHEY'S Creamy Milk Chocolate Bar, HERSHEY'S Whole Almonds Bar or HERSHEY'S Cookies 'n' Creme Bar.
