Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange
TORONTO, Dec. 7, 2018 /CNW/ - TMX Group today announced its financing activity on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) for November 2018.
TSX welcomed nine new issuers in November 2018, compared with 14 in the previous month and 14 in November 2017. The new listings were six exchange traded funds, two mining companies and one technology company. Total financings raised in November 2018 increased 272% from the previous month, and were up 92% compared to November 2017. The total number of financings in November 2018 was 37, compared with 44 the previous month and 65 in November 2017.

TSXV welcomed 13 new issuers in November 2018, compared with 14 the previous month and 12 in November 2017. The new listings were 11 capital pool companies and two mining companies. Total financings raised in November 2018 increased 26% compared to the previous month, and were up 7% compared to November 2017. There were 124 financings in November 2018, compared with 144 in the previous month and 141 in November 2017.
