TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2015 /CNW/ - Today TMX Group kicks off its 2015 U.S. roadshow with a conference event in New York focused on current issues and opportunities in Canada's capital markets.
The four-city Trade Canada U.S. Series brings together a cross-section of industry experts and U.S.-based participants with TMX Group executives to address key issues and to share perspectives on the state of our markets. Each Trade Canada event will feature a panel discussion with market structure experts as well as a guest presentation focusing on the important advantages of trading north of the border.
"The Trade Canada tour represents an important opportunity for TMX to reach out to our U.S. clients and discuss the industry issues they face on a daily basis," said Nick Thadaney, President and CEO, Global Equity Capital Markets, TMX Group. "These events also effectively showcase our world-class markets and serve to increase Canada's profile as an attractive place to do business."
Representatives from Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange and Canada's derivatives market, Montréal Exchange, will be in attendance.
The Trade Canada tour continues with events scheduled in Chicago on September 24, Boston on October 29 and San Francisco on November 19.
