CIBC says "Thank You" to clients as part of kickoff to FIFA 2010 World Cup(TM) broadcast sponsorship
TORONTO, June 11 /CNW/ - Today, CIBC recognizes and thanks its more than 11 million clients across Canada during CIBC National Customer Appreciation Day.
Celebrations from coast-to-coast at CIBC's more than 1,070 branches include refreshments, activities and exciting soccer-themed contests and giveaways to show CIBC's appreciation to its clients. Customer Appreciation Day also leverages CIBC's broadcast sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM) which kicks off today.

Soccer-themed contests and promotions to help get Canadian fans fired up for the tournament include:
- Three grand prizes of $10,000. Until July 11, CIBC clients can enter to win one of three grand prizes of $10,000 GICs when they purchase any new banking or credit product; or open or contribute to any investment product. - CIBC Soccer Ball Coin Banks. Receive a free Soccer Ball Coin Bank with every CIBC Advantage(R) for Youth Account opened at a CIBC branch between June 11 and July 11. - YouTube soccer video contest. Soccer fans of all ages can show their spirit and skills on YouTube for a chance to win a home entertainment centre with CIBC's Soccer Everywhere Video Contest. To enter, contestants film themselves playing soccer in a fun and interesting place, post their video to YouTube and visit cibcsoccereverywhere.com to submit their entry before July 11.
